Initially, the school, which was located in East Orange, New Jersey, occupied two classrooms and trained 15 students in job-related software applications. Shortly thereafter, the school was approved by the New Jersey Department of Education and expanded its course offerings to include customized training for local companies in conjunction with the Job Training Partnership Act (JTPA). As training programs offered by the school met with success, student enrollment increased and additional classes were added to accommodate the scheduling demands of the working group.
